The components of these BMW speakers include an acoustically precise aluminum membrane with rubber surround and Connex centering spider, a precisely fitting aluminum die-cast basket with powerful magnet and  a Faraday copper cap attached to the pole piece for a stable magnet field and thus distortion-free sound.
The supplied crossover of the component system has vehicle-specific connections. In addition, a 150 Hz high-pass filter can be switched on to filter out the bass frequencies and increase the power handling.
